Community Partnership Program

In support of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, Casino New Brunswick is proud to support community organizations that make Greater Moncton a better place to live, work and play.

Our key areas of support are:

• Contributing to a Successful Workforce
We work with community partners in education and business to help create a strong and representative workforce for today and in the future.

• Strengthening our Community
We are dedicated to philanthropic giving to registered charitable organizations or registered charities that help strengthen our community.

• Promoting Community Pride
We support projects that promote pride, participation, access and achievement in sports and attract tourism to our tri-communities of Riverview, Moncton and Dieppe.

• Supporting New Brunswick's Growth through Partnership
We honour key business-related association requests for special not-for-profit events or conferences.

Eligibility Guidelines

To be eligible for sponsorship under our Community Partnership Program, groups must be registered charities or registered non-profit organizations. We evaluate each sponsorship opportunity based on several factors, including fit with our marketing plans, opportunity for visibility in the community, reflection of our corporate values and availability of resources.

While we welcome sponsorship request submissions throughout the year, our decisions are determined by our annual budget and other sponsorship commitments. Please keep in mind that Casino New Brunswick receives more applications for good projects than we have the funds to support.

Funding restrictions:
Casino New Brunswick supports a wide range of causes and events but we do have some restrictions.

We cannot consider these types of funding requests:

  • Religious groups, events or projects
  • Individual pursuits
  • Amateur sports teams or individual players
  • Conferences or tradeshows (unless directly related to Casino NB's business)
  • Advertising for fundraising purposes
  • Capital projects or campaigns

All applications go through the same channels and process. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed and evaluated by a committee that meets once a month. Please make your request early. We receive hundreds of requests a year. The evaluation process can take 6 to 8 weeks -or even longer for major regional or national events! Ideally, if you are planning a large event, please submit your request at least 9 to 12 months in advance. For medium to small events, we ask that you apply at least 4-6 months prior.
